Hiring Process

What the hiring process looks like

We are part of every step. What we look at, how long it takes, and what happens next, are explained below.

The stages

What to Expect

Six stages from application to decision. The same sequence for every vacancy.

  1. Step 1

    Apply

Pick the vacancy and give us your name, email, and CV. After you apply, you can sign in with that email to see where you are.

    Takes two minutes

  2. Step 2

    Personality Assessment

A link lands in your inbox immediately. 30 questions, one sitting. One question at a time. The timer starts after the first question, then runs for 40 minutes.

    Same day, 40 minutes

  3. Step 3

    Interest Recording

If you clear the assessment, you record yourself live and tell us why you want this role.

    3 minutes, on camera

  4. Step 4

    Conversation

If the recording holds up, we send a meeting link and a time within 72 hours. You meet with the people you would work with, about work you have done.

Within 72 hours of the recording

  5. Step 5

    Meet the Team

A ten-minute meeting where you briefly meet the entire team for a personality fitment test.

    Ten minutes

  6. Step 6

    Decision

A clear answer with the reasoning behind it. If it is a no, we tell you why. If it is a yes, we talk terms and a start date.

    Days, not weeks

Personality Assessment

What to Expect In The Sitting

One sitting, 30 questions, 40 minutes. We would rather tell you how it works than have you guess at it.

30 Questions, One Sitting

You will see statements about how you typically work, rated from strongly disagree to strongly agree, and short problems where you choose the option that fits best. The whole sitting is your personality assessment. There is no extra paper and no second round with a different name.

Answer as you actually work. The sitting is scored against the applied role requirements, not against a generic ideal profile.

Interest Recording

Why We Ask You To Speak

A written test tells us how you think on paper. The recording is you, live, telling us why this work is yours to do.

3 Minutes, Fixed

The timer stops you. You can finish earlier. You can record again until you send a take. Once you send it, that is the take we watch.

Live, In The Browser

Camera and microphone, on a laptop if you can. No uploaded file from last year, no edited reel. We want to hear you think out loud.

Then A Real Conversation

We watch the recording before we spend a conversation on it. If it holds up, you meet the people you would work with, not a recruiting screen.

Fairness

How We Use What You Send

A Human Decides

Scores are one input, weighed alongside the recording and the conversation. A person reviews every result and can override the threshold in either direction.

Calibrated Per Role

Thresholds are set for each vacancy before applications open, not adjusted afterwards to fit a name we already liked. A result below the bar for one role may clear it comfortably for another.

Your Data, Handled Properly

Results and recordings are visible only to the hiring team reviewing this vacancy. We do not sell, share, or publish them, and you can ask us to delete your data at any point.

Feedback On Request

We do not publish individual scores, but ask after a decision and we will tell you honestly where you stood and what drove the outcome.

That is the whole process

No hidden rounds, no ghosting, no take-home project that eats your weekend.
